I find solace from sharing here.
Sharing with strangers, yet kindred spirits.
It binds me to this place.
There is meaning, feels powerful, safe.
Together we write, together we connect.
I’ve found understanding, friendship and knowledge.
Your words have cleared the fog.
My words have lifted me up.
This wonderful, intense world of blogging.
Together we write, together we connect.
Words are my outlet, my peace.
Sharing an odd, but happy refuge.
I’m sometimes unsure. I’m sometimes compelled.
You always offer warm, welcome encouragement.
Together we write, together we connect.
Sometimes I wonder, will it continue?
Ponder how far I will take it.
We share the personal. We’re vulnerable.
We celebrate joy, we understand sorrow.
Together we write, together we connect.

It means a lot to have a safe place, doesn't it? And yes, it's odd to fill your life with strangers, but I think you're right–when you find spirits that understand you, they no longer seem like strangers.
Simply beautiful!!!
This was lovely!!
This is so true! Wonderful, Christine!!!
"We share the personal. We're vulnerable.
We celebrate joy, we understand sorrow.

It is the vulnerability and the humility that I just adore about this. Anyone who loves to blog and connect, this should resonate with.
It did so with me.
Lovely and true for me,too!
We have a wonderful community here,
Summed up beautifully by your words!
Sigh. Yes!
How perfectly you have captured my sentiments about blogging. Yes to all of it! Together we write, together we connect. I wish could hug you for this!
The togetherness brought by words, sharing…
When wanting togetherness brings us together,
It has to lead somewhere good.
Writing, connecting, understanding, supporting, reading, listening…
You sum it up just beautifully.
Your beautiful words resonate with me. Not sure what I would find, I began blogging with some trepidation. It came as a great surprise and comfort to find this community of writers who connect, encourage and comfort one another. This is beautiful.
Thanks……….cj
Christine this is lovely! Your words echo exactly my own thoughts after five months of blogging, it has done so very much for me and yet I am already wondering for how long I will do this too, but I do know the words it has allowed me to spill out and the connections I have made with other wonderful bloggers has been extraordinary.
You really have a gift with words – this is such a perfect expression of the community.
This is like an anthem. The last lines are perfect, but these really got me, "Words are my outlet, my peace. Sharing an odd, but happy refuge." Yes, yes, yes.
Lovely.
Yes. Exactly that.
I don't think I expected quite what I've found when I started blogging. The people with whom I share so much mean everything to me. That's why I keep coming back, even if I have to take a break every now and then.
Such a clever post! "Together we write, together we connect" Love this line! So true. And so glad WE'VE connected!
I so agree. Thanks!
Christine,

Lovely. Writing is my passion, and blogging gives me a social outlet as well since I don't go many places. Thank you.
