This much I know

August 13, 2010

I’m not perfect, only perfectly human.

I still have lessons to learn.

I have so much to give.

Want to share and be loved.

I’m searching. I’m digging. I’m discovering.

I won’t make progress alone, individually.

I need help, kindness, and understanding.

Serenity I believe is just being.
But being is work, always work.

You're so right; this is simple and lovely and true. Being IS work. But it feels like better work – more serene work, maybe? – when you have support and partnership. Wishing you progress and discovery – and confidence at your crossroads.

Being human is definitely not perfect – I always think how boring that would be. Lovely words.

The are beautifully distilled, exquisite sentences. So much in each. You are tremendous.

I often fight against the constant work that is being, I wonder how much nicer life would feel if I accepted the work, reveled in it?

Keep being you, Christine. You are such a sweet, caring, thoughtful, honest and fun person. Someone I am proud to call friend. xo

Yes, my friend. So much yes. I hope that by putting this into words for the universe, you are able to get exactly what you need so desperately.

Oh yes! Serenity requires work. Lots.
A little progress, every day = plenty.

"Being" IS work. It feels like it should come naturally, but rarely does. (For me, anyway.) It's a great feeling to be able to sit back and just "be," though.

You have a ton to give, and you're doing such a great job at discovering yourself. I am impressed as I sit from the sidelines and watch. Great post and great work!

Being is work, that's for sure.
But you know who you are, friend–
So be her, head held high.

Being, is hard work- that's true.
Work hard (but don't forget) play harder
We only live this one life.

"I'm not perfect, only perfectly human."

Such lovely words from an evolving soul.

And this? ""But being is work, always work." Absolutely perfect. Because it's so so true.

Love this, esp the last 2 lines:

"Serenity I believe is just being.

But being is work, always work."

I want the serenity without all the work. Is it possible? Lmk…
