Transform

September 3, 2010

To transform, to change, become new
Easy to say, so hard to do

Wandering, searching, looking to be happy
Reaching, almost capturing, then falling back

Change boils up from somewhere deep
Trying to escape, to break free

I feel it, almost know it
It teases, hovers elusively, dances flirtatiously

There is darkness, it’s so heavy
There is lightness, it’s so fleeting

I think try harder, spread wide
Easy to say, so hard to do

This is so bang on! There are some days when it is so difficult to change. And I so badly want to. I feel every word right there with you. Thank you for sharing!

“Change boils from somewhere deep.”
You captured the essence of change.
A noun that I often run from
Until I remember that it’s good.
Transformation is necessary for this journey
Even if it hurts at first.

Transformation is necessary. And yes it hurts! But sometimes, just sometimes it feels SO GOOD.

Yes, change is hard to do
Sometimes even more hard to accept
We must go with the flow
Not fight it, just accept it
Move forward through ups and downs
Not too much thinking. Just living.

You are right…I agree, sometimes we just need to live. Good lesson for me!

Word. “EASY to say, harder to do.” and that is how it is.

Yet some change comes quietly, no?
Sometimes, I’m changing by letting go.

Changing by letting go. I like that!

Beautiful words. Change is so hard and yet so necessary. Seems like it’s always two steps forward and one step back.

The bubbling, inescapable change is terrifying and awesome. Sometimes, too often, my trying just trips me up. Beautiful post.

Change is truth. What is harder?

I love and dread change. But sometimes, it’s so necessary.

Captured so beautifully here. Have a lovely weekend.

Let it or make it happen?
Either way, hope for momentary pain.

Let it or make it happen? Good food for thought!

And sometimes change hits full force.
No time to adjust, just deal.
And look back and you’ll see
It wasn’t so bad, just different.

You have to want to change
Even then change is very hard
When you have made some changes
It is even harder after that
To continue to change, to grow

Yes, it is so hard to do. I’ve been there, and I know. It’s oh so hard. Praying for the light to supercede the dark.

I dislike change. Anticipating it and being in it. Only after I have reflected do I embrace it.

Change is the way to growth
and you have said it well.
